Chill Skills

Supporting young people at a key time of change, building foundations and providing them with skills for life.

What is Chill Skills?

The Chill Skills course is designed particularly for students in Years 6 and 7. It is usually run as a 6 week course with a selected group of students within the school day.

The course aims to support young people at a key time of change, building foundations and providing skills for life.

Sessions are best run in a nurture group style, allowing for a more relaxed environment where key topics can be discussed. They are structured using the format of the Relax Kids ‘7 Steps of Relaxation’. These 7 steps enable the students to experience a therapeutic approach to learning tips and techniques for improved self regulation and resilience.

There is flexibility in topics covered and age groups taught so please just ask and I will try to accommodate!

What topics are covered?

“Sarah helped work with my son as he has issues with confidence and anxiety. He absolutely loved Sarah’s sessions that were tailored exactly to his needs. They were fun and interactive and he really engaged, as Sarah is completely captivating. The tools he learned with Sarah he still uses now, especially his hand breathing. These skills are pivotal to ensure positive mental health in kids which will help them to grow in to a well equipped adult.”
